Executive Director & Founder
Kelita Wright-Foster, BSBA, AABM, CDVSA
Kelita Wright-Foster is the Founder and Executive Director of Black Excellence Empowerment Inc. (B.E.E.), a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting, inspiring, and empowering women and girls through advocacy, community-building, education, mentorship, and leadership development.
A native of Blakely, Georgia, Kelita has devoted her life to creating opportunities that help individuals and families thrive. With a background in business administration and nonprofit leadership, she combines professional expertise with a passion for service to make a lasting impact in the community.
Credentialed through the United States Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights in Washington, D.C., Kelita is also a Certified Domestic Violence and Safety Awareness (CDVSA) advocate. Her work focuses on empowering women, promoting leadership development, advancing financial literacy, and supporting those affected by domestic violence.
Kelita serves as a Voices Ambassador for the American Cancer Society's Black Women initiative and serves on the Women in Leadership Committee. She is also actively involved with the Junior League of Jacksonville and volunteers her time with Jacksonville Job Corps for Women. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, she works to promote education, advocacy, leadership development, and economic empowerment.
As a founding and charter member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Kelita has served in several leadership roles, including Vice President of Finance, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, and Bylaws Committee Chair. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to financial literacy, leadership development, and advancing opportunities for Black women across all sectors.
Through Black Excellence Empowerment Inc., Kelita leads transformative programs that provide mentorship, educational resources, community support, and pathways to personal and professional growth. Her mission is simple: to help others recognize their worth, embrace their potential, and walk confidently in their purpose while creating a legacy of empowerment for future generations.

What an incredible evening at the Best Boss Awards!
A special thank you to Adrienne Martin for hosting such an outstanding and well executed event tonight. The atmosphere was filled with excellence, legacy, and purpose.
My team and I were truly honored and grateful to attend and to be in the presence of phenomenal Black business owners and entrepreneurs who have paved the way with 25 and 30 years of dedicated service. That alone was inspiring.
While we may not have taken home a trophy, we walked away with something even greater connection, motivation, and confirmation that the work we are doing matters.

I was truly honored to serve as a guest host and speaker at Arlington Middle School for an impactful Black History & Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service event hosted by City Year.
Having a seat at the table alongside Duval County Public Schools Superintendent Christopher Bernier, Arlington Middle School Principal Scott Stuart and Quintin Griffin, Managing Director of Impact (City Year), was both meaningful and inspiring.
A special thank you to Elizabeth Todd, Managing Director of Advancement, and Audrey Prim, Impact Manager, for the invitation and for creating space for authentic dialogue, service, and leadership.
It was a true honor and privilege to celebrate Black History Month while reflecting on the life, legacy, and living work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
His call to service, justice, and community continues to guide and challenge us all.
Moments like these remind us that service is leadership, and when we come together educators, community leaders, and students we plant seeds that will shape the future.

BEST BOSS SISTERHOOD ORGANIZATION SEMI-FINALIST NOMINATION
Black Excellence Empowerment Inc. is proud to prepare for the 9th Annual Best Boss Awards Gala of Florida, where we have been named a Best Boss Sisterhood Organization Semi-Finalist. This year, we will celebrate Black excellence alongside entrepreneurs from across the state of Florida at this prestigious black-tie affair.
The stellar event will take place on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 5:00 PM, in the Conference Center Ballroom of the Downtown Jacksonville Public Library in Jacksonville, Florida.
We are excited and deeply honored to be recognized as a nominee at one of the largest awards galas in the South, celebrating more than 200 African American entrepreneurs. It is a privilege to stand on this platform and honor the success, leadership, and impact of Florida’s best African American small business owners.
On a personal note, I genuinely love and cherish the women I have the honor of serving alongside in our community. Sharing this moment with them and with my family means everything to me. We plan, we execute, and we remain committed to the work, often without expecting recognition.
To now be seen and acknowledged in this way feels truly surreal and deeply humbling.
